AL Series EM Series

Low Cost - High Efficiency The IPSCO Flat Panel Filters provide a low cost filtration system with easily replaceable and washable media mats. IPSCO AL Flat Panel Filter [Aluminium Frame] Low cost panel filters supplied with many air conditioning and ventilation systems generally require replacing after a relatively short time. The IPSCO AL Series Panel Filter is an ideal replacement, coupling a long and efficient service life with low purchase and maintenance costs. When fitted in standard single unit air conditioners, split system air conditioners and smaller air handlers, the IPSCO AL Series Filter is capable of making a major contribution to improved filtration performance and lower maintenance costs.

The extruded aluminium frame of the IPSCO AL Series filter has been designed to fit into standard 12mm and 25mm filter channels, and offers greater resistance to corrosion, being stronger than plastic and providing effective support for the Viledon filter media. The media is secured into the frame with a plastic bead which is easily taken out when the filter media needs washing or replacing.

IPSCO EMD Panel Filter [Stainless Steel Frame]
This robustly constructed filter is particularly suitable as a primary or final stage filter in climate control and ventilation systems for office buildings, hospitals, shopping malls, dairy factories, food processing plants, production lines, steel foundries, paint booths, etc. As a first stage filter, the EMD can further extend the already long in?ervice life of IPSCO pocket filters. The EMD filter may also be used as an effective stand along dust and particle filter.

IPSCO EM Panel Filter
Uses for the IPSCO EM Filter are similar to those of the IPSCO EMD filter. The main differences between the two filters are frame design. The EM Filter comprises outer and inner stainless steel frames. The outer frame enables a number of EM Filters to be spot welded or pop riveted together to make a multi filter bank without the need for the holding channels/frames required by the EMD Filter. Two small levers on the inner frame of the EM Filter allow easy removal for access to the Viledon filter media for maintenance and eventual replacement.

Increased Surface Area - Increased Service Life The IPSCO Pleated Panel Filter further extends the reduced cost benefits of using Viledon Filter Media in high quality stainless steel framing manufactured in New Zealand. Improved performance has been achieved by pleating the filter media to increase the surface area available for dust collection. IPSCO AL50R Pleated Panel Filter [Aluminium Frame] The IPSCO pleated Panel Filter further extends the reduced cost benefits of using Viledon Filter Media in high quality aluminium framing manufactured in New Zealand. Improved performance has been achieved by pleating the filter media to increase the surface area available for dust collection. By pleating the filter media within the 50 mm frame depth the gain in surface area leads to higher dust holding capacity and longer in?ervice life.

The IPSCO AL50R Pleated Panel Filter is designed for use as a stand?lone filter, which can be fitted to a 50 mm channel or into an IPSCO CHF holding frame. Alternatively, as a first stage filter, the AL50R filter will extend the already long in?ervice life of IPSCO Pocket Filters.

When reduced maintenance is required the AL50R Pleated Panel Filter is an alternative to the IPSCO EMD Panel Filter and can be used in a variety of ventilation applications including commercial buildings, dairy factories, food manufacturing plants, industrial ventilation etc. The stainless steel wire supports are removable allowing the filter media to be taken out or left within the frame for washing.

By pleating the filter media within the 50mm frame depth the gain in surface area leads to higher dust holding capacity and longer in-service life. The IPSCO FMP Pleated Panel Filter is designed for use as a stand alone filter, which can be fitted to a 50mm channel.

When reduced maintenance is required the FMP Pleated Panel Filter is an alternative to the IPSCO EMD Panel Filter and can be used in a variety of ventilation applications including commercial buildings, dairy factories, food manufacturing plants, industrial ventilation etc. The stainless steel wire supports are removable allowing the filter media to be taken out or left within the frame for washing.

We use synthetic-organic high-performance nonwovens manufactured in-house by Viledon. The media are progressively structured, i.e. fibre layers arranged in line with the density increasing towards the clean air side, thus ensuring an optimized combination of defined filtration performance and dust holding capacity. The result: low pressure drop, long useful life, high cost-efficiency.

All Compact pocket filters are glassfibre-free, non-corroding, moisture-resistant up to 100% rel. humidity, and self-extinguishing to DIN 53438 (Fire Class F1).

The uniformly high quality of each and every filter element is assured by impartial type-testing to EN 779,and documented by DIN mark of conformity and model validation number. The Maximized functional reliability is thanks to the leak-proof welded configuration of the filter pockets, foamed into the polyurethane front frame, and dimensionally stable construction of the filter element as a whole.

Compact pocket filters are available in a wide range of grades from low cost medium life through to ultra long life - ultra high capacity - ultra low resistance filters.

NanoPleat Series MV MaxiPleat Series MX

NanoPleat Type MV NanoPleat series filters offer a light weight space and energy saving alternative for hospitals, food manufacturers and other critical areas. These filters are highly chemical and moisture resistant and are fully incinerable. They make ideal filters for multistage filtration systems where space is tight and high quality air is required, and they fit easily into our standard frame sizes. The rigid construction means that these filters are very durable and easy to maintain. Media grades from F6 - F9 are available from stock.

MaxiPleat
Type MX MaxiPleat filters offer a light weight space and energy saving filtration system for Hospitals, food manufacturers, critical ventilation areas, gas turbine intakes.

Space saving MaxiPleat MX 75 - MX 85 filters are used for supply, exhaust and recirculated air filtration in ventilation systems, filtration grade F6 & F7. Maxipleat MX95 and MX98 filters offer F8 & F9 filtration grade and are used for supply, exhaust and recirculated air filtration in ventilation systems which have very stringent requirements for clean air quality, particularly when space is limited. MX100-MX120 filters offer H11-H12 grade filtration, the highest level of filtration available in this extra compact range of filters.

MaxiPleat filters have all the benefits of the NanoPleat filter range and also include protection grids on both sides of the filter, and cover a wider range of filtration from F6 - H12.

IPSCO carries a large range of filter media stock from G2-G4 classification and a special media for use in the roof of automotive spraybooths. Media can be supplied as cut mats, per lineal metre, by square metre or as full or part rolls to suit almost every application. Medias stocked include fully washable [20-30 washes] and semi disposable [3-5 washes] types and a full range of filter accessories such as holding frames can also be supplied.

IPSCO Filter frames can easily be assembled into filterbanks for larger installations. Specialised holding frames and safe change modules for HEPA filters are also available on order. IPSCO Honeycomb Grease Filters are available in a wide range of standard sizes to suit most modern commercial kitchens. The Honeycomb grease filters have large smooth walled passages that enable it to be easily cleaned using a water jet. The special aluminium Flying Vee corrugations virtually eliminates the clogging found in other filter systems. The application Viledon activated-carbon and combi-filters improve indoor air quality, alleviate feelings of ill-health in connection with the Sick Building Syndrome, and protect sensitive products, processes and equipment, by also eliminating pollutant gases and unwanted odours. They are used in intake, exhaust and recirculated air filtration involving special requirements for clean air quality, ie. in state-of-the-art air-conditioning and indoor climate control systems (hospitals, laboratories, print shops, catering kitchens, museums, airports, shopping malls, hotels, banks, office buildings, etc.) in industrial processes (chemicals, pharmaceuticals, food and beverages, optics, electronics, micro- electronics, etc.) in compact air-conditioners as prefilters for HEPA and ULPA filters.

The filter media and the design

• The activated-carbon media in both filters are secured in an open structure by a newly developed bonding process, achieving maximized active surface for gas adsorption.
• DuoPleat filters are activated-carbon and particle filters in one: their unique filter media combine the special activated carbon medium with a triple-layered high- performance nonwoven of synthetic-organic fibers and microfibers. This enables Class F 7 particle filtration and effective gas adsorption to be handled in a single filter stage.
• The pleated filter media are mounted in a plastic- framed V-configuration, and cast-sealed to preclude leaks. The large filtering area installed, together with the unique structure of the filter media, provides not only a particularly high storage capacity and a long useful lifetime, but also very low pressure drops. Your benefit: exceptionally cost-efficient and reliable operation.
• The filters are glassfiber-free, self-extinguishing to DIN 53438 (Fire Classes F]/K]), as well as non- corrosive and fully incinerable, since metal-free.

Overspray Paper Intake Filters Mist Arrestors

We stock and supply a wide range of filter media suitable for spraybooths from intake air filters to disposable overspray paper. Refer to our flat panel and pleated panel filter pages or contact our office for assisitance if it is for an industrial application. The geometry of the overspray separator provides a high grade stiffness and allows installation without intermediate support. The Tub Scrubber provides clean air in controlled environments housing sensitive electronics, and can sit outside the control room and pressurizes the space with clean air. The Tub Scrubber is used in applications where high levels of a single contaminant are present, such as pulp and paper mills.

The Deep Bed Scrubber can sit outside the protected space and provides clean pressurization air to rooms equipped with electronic process control systems. The Deep Bed Scrubber offers up to 4 media beds for control of multiple contaminants in process industries.

The Positive Pressurization Units are a self-contained system designed to provide pressurization air that is free of corrosive gases to environments containing sensitive electronics.
